The Franciscan Friars (Order of Friars Minor) welcome you to Mt. Alvernia Retreat Center. Whether you are a group of twenty or one hundred (double occupancy) we are ready to accomodate your group for a time of spirtual nourishment and relaxation. We welcome groups, Catholic, other than Catholic, or secular.* The Center has numerous conference and gathering rooms, walking trails, spectacular views, great food, and a peaceful chapel. Visit our plan a retreat page to get started. Whether you have one of the friars lead your retreat or you bring your own leader or team, we welcome you to "The Mount."

Mt. Alvernia has more than 18 outdoor shrines. We are hoping that members of the community will "adopt-a-shrine" to care for and maintain each of these lovely dovotional areas dedicated to saints. If you are interested in adopting a shrine, please email us or see Fr. Mario, Br. Joe, or
